Well, it's been a NICE week of being back to "normal living"! I've been busy, though, both at work and at home. I started two online classes on Monday, so I've been doing lots of reading this week. I love online classes and I wish my entire college program was online. If I ever get a Masters, maybe that will be all online!
I'm going traveling with a friend this weekend, so that will be fun to get out of town for a couple days. After this weekend, I really have to buckle down and focus on these classes because there seems to be SO much jammed into them that I can't afford to get lazy with them. *sigh*
I've been thinking lately how old habits are hard to break. There are some things about my personality that I would like to change (and that I've wanted to change for awhile) and I work and work and work on them but then in one night, it seems like those things can all come rushing back in the excitement of the moment. *sigh* I guess that's why the next saying goes, "Practice makes perfect!" :) It's nothing serious, really, just little things that I really don't care for and would like to change because I think it would make me a better friend to people. But I still hate it when I have those nights where I hang out with a group of people and all those behaviors that I want to change just come FLOODING back and I forget my goal. Then, when I leave the group for the night, I find myself thinking, "WHY did I act that way!?!" and I'm frustrated that I reverted to old behaviors. Such is life, I guess, but it can be an aggravating experience sometimes.
Okay, I have to go get ready for the weekend traveling! Have a great weekend yourself! :o)
