Yeah, I'm a "little" bit late with that declaration, but I still mean it! I hope you ALL have a wonderful 2010!! :)
I'm back in my home now. I came back yesterday. It wasn't as hard to leave Wisco this time...or so I thought. I did fine until I closed the door to my apartment and then the tears started. They didn't stop until I went to bed, either. Luckily I had some relief from the tears when I went to supper with a good friend. Thanks, Mosie!! :) Today, I've been doing much better. It's never easy to say good-bye, is it? Now if only I could convince my family to move closer to ME! After all, both my folks ARE retired now!! What else do they have to do (*hint, hint*, guys...ha!)!?!
I received a power point the other day with this list of things to think about and I really enjoyed it. Lo and behold, I was catching up on blogs this evening and my friend, Amy, had it on her blog! THANKS, Amy, for letting me steal this from you! :) I hope that all of you enjoy reading through these things, too. :)
(After posting this, I realized that I posted this list of things eleven months ago. I guess that I really DO like it!! :o)
Happy New Year!!!

I still like your little sayings, too. But your little try at a "guilt trip" isn't going to work, we'll be staying in WI....we love you anyway! mom
I know how hard it is to leave the "homeplace" to return to your own home. I cried SO many times when I moved away from home, I can't even count them all. I'm glad that you're feeling content where you are though even though we all miss you here!! Great list for 2010 too!!
Happy new Year!
Yeah, I don't see any reason why your folks can't move to wonderful Wyoming! Then they wouldn't have to spend money visiting you every year! ;)
It's hard to leave, especially when the kids are about to cry too!
I'm glad I didn't have to cry when you left WI !!!!
Jen - I've lurked here a couple of times - through Crystal. I can SOOO feel your pain about leaving home and shedding many tears. I lived in FL for 5 years - and every single time I came back to TX to visit or my parents came to visit us I cried and cried and cried after saying good bye! After our son was born it was 50,000 times worse! I loved it there and would move back in a heartbeat if I could take my family with me - but I can't take them so my tail is staying right here in TX now. ;) Moral of the story is...well, I'm not sure. ;) I think you should work harder on getting your parents to move to WY - I mean, from the comment you Mom made it sounds like there may be room for negoation. ;) Probably as likely as my parents leaving TX - aint gonna happen!!
