Dad thought I should update this, so here you go. :)
Jury duty is going fine. It's an interesting case, so that's good. But having to be gone from work and school is seriously messing with my life. I'm behind in everything. And, yes, I know that everyone has to accommodate me, but it still doesn't mean that someone else is doing your work for you. In that sense, it's a rip.
So, I've been scrambling around today to tie up loose ends and I really should have been in bed over two hours ago now, but there's always one more thing to do! *sigh*
Anyway, tomorrow (Tuesday) closing arguments will begin, so hopefully we can get the deliberation process going and get it over with. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we're done by (or on!) Thursday. At this point, though, I'm not to optimistic about it because I realize that in the court's world, nothing is predictable or guaranteed. *sigh*
That being said, I'm going to go to bed now. Good night!

Glad to hear from you. (Thanks dad!) I can imagine it must feel overwhelming to be behind in work and school. :o( Miss you.
In high school did you have to read that one play called "Twelve Angry Men"? Do you think your deliberation will be like that?
