- Today I'm thankful for the freedom that we have in this country. I fear that we will lose it all too soon, but I hope I never see that day!
- Today I'm thankful for my vision. We have a student in our program at UW that is blind. Every day I watch him move around, attend classes and live his life. I can't even begin to imagine what he faces. I hope that I never have to know.
- Today I'm thankful for the quiet times in life where I can meditate, read my Bible and pray. It always helps me to refocus and to "straighten things out" in this journey that I'm on.
What about YOU? What are you thankful for today? Let us all know!! :)

What a great post Jen!! I love it and look forward to reading the responses!
Recently I visited an elderly lady who is in the nursing home. Last Sat she asked me to describe what it was like outside. It has made me thankful everytime I step outside to be able to walk, see, hear, smell....simply to live life and to be able to enjoy it.
I've also been EXTRA thankful this week for family and good friends and what they mean to me.
Amen Sister!! * I am thankful for wonderful friends who I love spending time with. * I am thankful for wonderful husband and the up-coming blessing of having a baby girl! * I am thankful for all the blessings that come from God! (thanks for the wonderful thought raising post)
I am thankful that I am married to a man who willingly gets up and goes to work everyday, While his children and wife get to stay home. I am so so so thankful that because of his sacrifice (no boy toys, a shop, and no vehicle of his own ect...) we do NOT have daycare babies! I am so thankful for my children and their good health, for my loving and supportive hubby, and all the blessings GOD has delt us! I could go on but I think I had better stop here......
I am thankful for a little boy that keeps me on my toes, for good health and a wonderful hubby, fam and friends. Above all I am thankful for a Heavenly Father that has given all these blessings.
I am thankful that I have lived long enough to have gray hair and wrinkles! Several of my friends have not been so lucky! Also, I have great sons, grandchildren, and wonderful daughter-in-laws!
I'm most grateful for the loving, spiritual family that I have been brought into.
I'm finally getting time to read these posts & they're great!
I'm thankful to be alive; have a great family; knowing God's love; being healthy; having great friends; having a good paying job;...need I say more? I guess I'm thankful for everything because there's a reason for all things happening. mom
