How I'll roll this summer

So I've been wanting to share my new wheels for awhile now, but I'm only getting around to it today. This pretty machine was a gift to me for my birthday/christmas.
Pretty sweet, eh? It's a cruiser bicycle and, unfortunately, I can't remember this specific style other than it says "Simple" along the body of the bike. Anyway, I'm planning to put a little basket on it and a horn and then a couple other trinkets and I will be good to go! So, if you're in town this summer, be looking around for me on this sweet ride. If you honk and wave, I'll honk back! :)

Oh, and one other quick question...what should I name it? It would be kind of fun to have a name for it, so leave your suggestions in the comments and I'll let you know my final decision! ;)

That looks just like my bike I used to have in Laramie!! Only.. much newer. And whiter. And minus the basket. ;) I didn't name mine, alas, so have no brilliant suggestions. I just rode it to the grocery store and stuck my bags in the basket and rode back again, feeling all cosmopolitan.

My suggestion is "greased lightning." If you don't get it, go rent "Grease" and watch it. But call me first so I can watch it with you!

I think you should name it White Lightening. Or perhaps Edgar. Yep, definately Edgar.

Hi Jen, I was going to comment the other day, but didn't get it done. I was going to also suggest "speed demon" for your new wheels, but I might second the "Matilda". That sounds a little more feminine. Enjoy the ride!! Linda

I like "White Chocolate" because its white and one sweet ride. Actually that is what I'm naming my new car (had to get a new one, mine died) but I'm willing to share the name...Love ya, Cousin Jodi

Cool bike! I've been wanting one too, but don't have much of a place to ride it where I live. Hey, you could name it "Happy Trails". hmmm...good luck!

I agree with mom "Fanny Mae" is an awesome name for your awesome bike.

You can ride it out to our house for a meal (with Marci running beside you) ;)

I'm kinda liking the Matilda suggestion too, but I would also suggest Betty. Betty the bicycle. Now I'll have to think about naming my own bike. I name cars but never thought to name my bike before. Mine is a mountain bike instead of a cruiser, so I'm thinking something a bit tougher than Betty...

Wooo! I LOVE IT! After you get the basket and horn or bell on it, you'll have to move down here. Anyone who is anyone down here rides a swell bike around town - you would fit right in!

And I have to cast my vote for Fanny Mae...that is too good.

I'm working on a new post for you since the last one made you sad. :)
