Summer's Peak

I was headed to the gym after work yesterday afternoon and I couldn't help but notice these gorgeous flowers that are planted in various garden spots across the parking lots. Of course, pictures don't do them justice, but they were breathtaking. I mentioned last night to a friend that I've really been noticing flowers lately, whether they're in people's yards or around campus, and that it just seems like they're brilliant in color and beautiful. (More so than normal!) So, I've decided that we must be in the peak days of summer for things to be so vibrant right now! I hope you can enjoy the beauty like I did!!

There is nothing more beautiful than a bunch of flowers blooming in an array of colors. The flowers in the pictures are beautiful!

I agree, Jen! I went on a walk the evening after I read your blog and I noticed the vibrant colors too. I don't think I would have noticed them if I hadn't read your blog first!

Jen, I loved the flowers! I was just telling dad today that I missed all my flowers this summer. I didn't plant any because we were planning on being gone for 3 weeks and no one would be around to water them. Perenials just don't have the vivid colors all summer long. Thanks for sharing. Love, mom
