I hate politics.

So, I'm posting something new because I am sick and tired of looking at that Barack post every time that I come to my page!! So much so that I might delete the dumb thing. I've been trying to be better in recent weeks to be involved with what's going on, politically, and to be informed and ready to make decisions. All it has really done is give me some anxiety about our future. We have a sorry pool of candidates, folks. I'm worried about what will happen to us with ANY of them. I do not feel confident about any of them, nor do I feel like we would be protected with any of them. So, I've decided that the only thing that I can really do is pray that the right person is chosen for the job so that God's plan can continue. *sigh* I hate politics.

Now for a cartoon. Because I've been thinking that I want to get a cat AND because I'm such a wonderful morning person, I thought I'd post this cartoon today:

Have a good rest of the day!!!

There's proly not much difference from one to the next- and all will be dependant on Congress. There're plenty of examples all over the world of 'evil' people in power who have been there for years- so it's not like 'the best person' always gets in- but that doesn't really hinder God. Nor does it mean we don't care! The fact that we pray about these things gives us peace; not the situation we live in.
It's been amusing to watch the Democratic race from afar. I have no idea whatsoever who on earth I could/will (likely I won't but you never know!) vote for. I think they're all pretty good at portraying what they want...but who knows what they're really like? For instance the ex-Gov of NY, Spitzer...
Bet you didn't think you'd get a whole post for a comment! ha! I didn't plan on it- it just happened when my fingers took off across the keys! Have a good day! xo

Amen Jen!!! I am so, SO weary of hearing people say what they think we want to hear and have no real ability or plan to DO what they say they will. Oh it just makes me so mad!! I agree - prayer is the only option.

I'm sure you heard about our little old hometown visit from Hillary's spouse. And he was the same way... convincing people she was going to be different, saying just what folks want to hear. I want to yell and scream, to be truthful, but I shall refrain. At least in public. :)

I say you definitely should get a cat. That is what is really important here! Wanda

I agree...I'm tiring of politicians too so I've decided to take action! I'm not listening to news or reading any news for today and I'll just run my home as if I were the leader in my own little country! Tomorrow, I'll realize that I'm not thoroughly effective at that...so I'll go back to settling in, groaning at the inevitable going on around me and smile because I have it MADE! :) (ha! ha!) LW
