Deer

So, during the NON-hunting season, my parents feed deer. They have a corn bin (I guess you'd call it that) that is just up the hill, about 15 or 20 feet or so from the house. They put the corn in this bin every day and just let the deer wander in to eat!! Dad said that he goes through about 2000 pounds of corn every winter! Wow. I captured these photos and video a few nights ago, but I'm just getting time to load them now. We only had two deer in that evening, but some evenings there are a LOT more. It's a pretty neat event to watch! :o) There's just something lovely about watching nature up close like that. It's quite moving, I think. Enjoy! :)

Hmmm...well, I got this black box to post (for the video), but I don't think it loaded (AGAIN!!). Aargh. Well, we'll see how this works for everyone!
