Ok, so I have a confession.

Well, folks, we did it. Another Thanksgiving has passed. I hope it was wonderful for you!! :) But now I have a little confession to make...I seriously love everything about the Christmas season and I'm thrilled that it's that time of year again! :) I love the music, the lights, the cold days, the egg nog, the family time, the Christmas concerts...*sigh*...I love it all! Well, except tacky Christmas music, but that's for another blog! ;) So, here I go! For the next 4 1/2 weeks, I will be soaking it all up. Care to join me?!? :)

Really, now that Thanksgiving is over, it seems, to me, like fall is really over and we are FULL swing into the Christmas season and into winter. Even the temperature outside is letting us know that winter is here!! We've been below zero every night and barely making it into the 20s in the day time. That's why I've changed the look of my blog. I want it to be more winter like. :)

It's crazy, though, to think of how quickly this year has gone! I think all of you know that I work at the UW here in town and our students only have TWO more weeks of classes before finals week and then their month-long Christmas break! WOW!! I just can't believe that it's that time of the semester again! So, the next two weeks will fly by and we'll all be scrambling to finish things up for the semester. Here we go!!! :o)

Here's your funny for the day. As I was looking on the web for different winter pictures, I came across this cartoon and it made me laugh out loud:
Sick, isn't it? But it made me laugh. :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Well, hate to say that I don't agree with you...I hate cold, I hate snow, and I HATE christmas music! It wouldn't be so bad if they just played it for the last couple of weeks before Christmas, but they had it on in one of our stores starting about 2 WEEKS ago! Seriously! There are only so many times I can hear the same 10 songs, even if they are by 500 different artists! Barring 'Christmas Carol' and 'The 12 days of Christmas' by Jeff Foxworthy :) Glad you are enjoying yourself though!

Hey hon! Love the blogs background, and I too, like the Christmas music and egg nog. Not so much the cold, but the get togethers of family and friends. We are looking forward to you coming home, so you better be praying for good weather around that time! Happy egg nog to you! Mom

Me too! All of it! Music, lights, carols, concerts, snow!!!...
The music that I except are the so-called carols that are no such thing, but instead are modern songs sung at Christmas time, and sung WAAAAAAAAY TOOOOOOOO SLOWWWWWWWLYYYYYYY.
You know. Like: I'm dreaming of a white christmas, where each word takes a minimum of an entire minute to get out. Arg.

I love the snow and cold (at least when I don't have to drive on bad roads!). Oh, it is so crisp and refreshing outside and just so very pleasant!

My favorite Christmas songs are the tacky ones. Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer and all those ones. But I'm OK with the snow and cold. I wish it would quit raining here and start snowing.

Can't say that I enjoy this season of cheesy songs. I will echo Jocelyn's sentiments in regards to the music. It is day two of Christmas music at the office and I am already feeling like the Grinch!

Mostly what i like is snuggling under a warm blanket watching the snow come down! I hope to get to do that at least once this season!

I agree Jen, I love the whole season. I used to work at Walmart in my late teens early 20s and even loved the whole shopping scene then, call me crazy but the crowds don't really bother me, unless I am in a hurry. :-) I love the music, lights, all of it. Enjoy it, I am right there with you. I also love it cuz my sis comes home for better than a week, what gets better than that.
