And so it goes...

Well, life goes on. It took several days for my news to sink in, but when it did, it was wonderful. However, there are many more people who battle this demon, so let's not forget them in our prayers.

I've decided to keep this blog going for a while. I'm not sure if it's indefinite or what, but it's kind of nice to write and just get stuff out there. I promise not to reveal my deep, dark secrets, though, so no worries! :) It is a good way for my family & friends from far & near to keep up with what's going on with me. However, I'm sure it's going to be quite boring compared to all of my friends who have kid stories & pics to share! :)

Right now, really, there's not much going on. This past week was just getting back into the groove with work. I overdid things a bit, though, and didn't get as much sleep as I should have, so that led to a couple of rough days toward the end of the week. However, I was able to catch up last night and today I can just relax. Nice!

I've decided to celebrate my cancer free status by doing something that I've wanted to do for a few years now. This. Pretty sweet, huh? I haven't decided yet if this is the company I'm going to go through or what I'm going to do, but it's my plan of celebration! :) Anyone want to come with me?

So, this last week I also started looking at online degree programs to see about finishing up my bachelor's degree. Needless to say, my hopes were seriously dashed. Why do they have to make it so difficult! It's that or so expensive!! So, I'm debating what to do and have decided to review the materials again. I might just keep plugging along with what I'm doing.

Anyway, enough for now. Please go out and enjoy the lovely weekend! It's about 74 degrees here and gorgeous!! I'm loving it!! :o)

Sure, I'll go with you on a hot air balloon ride. How does Memorial Day sound? As long as Anna releases me from work that day. ;-) Also, I thought I'd comment to avoid being a "lurker" since I just found your blog the other day.

I'm so happy that you're going to celebrate your wonderful news!!! I'm sure it's taken awhile for it all to sink in and for the realization to hit!! I'm not so sure I would enjoy a balloon ride because I'm afraid of heights, but I wish I could come take pictures of you before, during (if we could see you) and after!! :o( Keep us posted and let us know how it goes! :o)

Hey, let me know how it goes on the balloon ride -- I'm thinking that would be a great birthday or anniversary present for my spousal unit.

Jen,
I would love to go with you, but with my huge pregnant belly it might not be the best thing...
Also we love your comments on our blog and would be so sad if you stopped blogging.
It is never boring to read your blog...SO THERE.
