Nothing new to report. Just a lovely day in L-town!! Yippee! Summer is a-comin'!!!
I didn't sleep the best last night and was up at 5 AM (I couldn't sleep, so I figured I might as well GET UP!) so I'm running kinda slow today. Those of you that know me know how much I love to sleep, so when it's a lacking element in my life...well, let's just say it's not pretty!
I'm glad the weather outside is nice, though. It helps me to feel a bit better! Most of you know I used to do my cancer checks in the middle of winter, so you can imagine what a dreary, depressed mess I was by the end of it!! But I said, "No more!" and pleaded with the doctors to let me do the testing when the weather was nicer. So, this is an experiment. Hopefully the sun, sun, sunniness of L-town's late spring/early summer will do wonders in boosting my spirits.
I can only hope!
Have a great weekend, everyone. I'm going to lay low and enjoy the 70-80 degree weather we are supposed to have. Did you hear that? Yeah. It was a sigh of happiness from me! ;o)

Jen: Happy to hear from you! Our spring has finally sprung and we are hog wild at Mix-Crete. Both of the boys are working for us again this summer and Keytun and Ryan are still in their same jobs, although Keytun continues to send resumes out. Mitch and I bought a motorcycle and ride every chance we get. I have many singing engagements this summer with my group and a few weddings with just Jacqui and me. Uncle Mitch stays very busy not only with the business but with the farm. Two colts were born last week so the horse count stays around 50! Way too many as far as I'm concerned, but he likes them. Taurean and Auhston have moved into a duplex in Cameron. They haven't even been there a week and Taurean is already bored and says there is nothing to do in town. He's never lived in town so doesn't know what to do with himself. They live right by the park where we had Grandpa and Grandma's 50th anniversary party. We bought a new bed. Upgraded from a queen to a king. It is so high off the ground that Grandma Jennie can't even get up on it without a stool!! I can't remember if I told you that Taylor and Lisa are expecting again in October. He is to be redeployed back to Iraq after that. We pray for the safety of our troops everyday!! I better get back to my tasks at hand, so take care of yourself and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you everyday also!
Love, Janine
