Did I ever mention out loud to anyone how much I hate moving? No? Well, I hate it. It's not fun at all. It's exhausting, it's hurtful (to my body, that is! I have SO many scratches and bruises right now!), and it's just a lot of work.
But I'm super excited to be IN my new apartment!! Yay!! I'm no where near even beginning to unpack, but I'm in here and I'm doing well and that's what counts. :o)
I have a few pictures of my time home to share with you, but I probably won't get to that until this weekend. I just have a few. But they're special to me. :)
And that's the update here! I'm off to fold laundry and then scrounge around to find a box that I've been looking for all day. The one good thing I know is that it's here somewhere!! Ha! :)

Thought Provoking
I've been traveling and just got back today and now I'm in the process of moving, so it may be a day or two before I update with pictures. In the meantime, I'll leave you with this thought that I read today and really enjoyed! Have a good week!
We accept the graceful falling
Of mountain cherry blossoms,
But it is much harder for us
To fall away from our own
Attachment to the world.

Pure Sweetness
I got this video in an e-mail attachment the other day and I just thought that it was one of the neatest things, so I decided to share it with all of you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Cute Hombres
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the birthday party of one of the cutest little cowboys in the west. He was a whopping one year old on his big day! Here are some snapshots of Corbin and his little friends at the party.
Fischer was warming up to all of the fun, that's for sure!! :) Here he was, trying to get the birthday toy to make some noise!
This is Rio...he was just hangin' out, watchin' the festivities and snacking away on some kid snacks...or maybe someone was feeding them to him...I forget. :)
And this is Hazen, otherwise known in these parts as Hazy J. He is cowboy through and through! He was following some of the other kids around and I caught this cute smile as he plodded on through. :)
Fischer was warming up to all of the fun, that's for sure!! :) Here he was, trying to get the birthday toy to make some noise!
And now for Corbin, the birthday boy... He wasn't real sure what to think about this flame on his cake AND having all of us sing to him!! He did know that he wanted to dig into that cake with his fingers (as you can see from his dad's hand having to restrain his arm!).
NOW he's finally allowed to dig in!! :) He was a little unsure at first, but he dug in pretty quickly. People were laughing over something at this point and Corbin just knew that people were laughing at him because he was just SO funny! :)
While getting ready to open presents, Corbin threw out his signature facial expression. He's just hilarious when he does this! :)
In these parts, we get very serious about opening presents. If it means we have to crawl up on the present to get it opened...well, so be it. :)
After watching some of the other kids getting the birthday toys to make noise, Corbin just had to give it a try himself! If you look close, you'll see that the paper was ripped away from the tube, so no matter how hard anyone would blow, no noise would ever come out of the broken toy. However, that did not deter Corbin! No sirree...he knew exactly what noise those toys made and he imitated the sound with his voice. Forget having to have the thing actually work...we'll improvise any time!!!
And, last, but not least, one of the neatest presents of all...a rocking horse! Corbin's grandma Kathy re-did this rocking horse to make it all new and shiny for Corbin. She gave it a new tail and mane as well as a new saddle and reins. It was awesome! What's even more special about this rocking horse...it belonged to Corbin's daddy when he was a little boy. Here is the horse along with a couple of videos of Corbin rocking and rolling on this thing! :)
